This policy explains how Mecha Anthropos ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information when you visit mechaanthropos.com, respond to our ads, book an audit or use our services. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, mobile number and email address.
- Business details such as your business name, website, industry, member count or service area.
- Anything you write to us by text, email, web form, social media message or on a call.
- Booking details when you schedule an audit or call.
Information from Meta lead forms
If you submit an instant form in one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, Meta passes us the details you entered in that form.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our hosting provider and analytics or advertising tools may record your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, the ad that brought you here, and cookie identifiers. See section 7.
Information collected during an audit
When you book an audit, we contact your business's public channels as a customer would: phone, web form and a message. We record reply times and screenshots of the replies. These may include the first names of your staff.
Information we process for clients
When we run a front desk for a client, we process messages and contact details from that client's own customers on the client's behalf and under the client's instructions. The client's own privacy policy applies to that information. We use it only to provide the service to that client.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, run your audit and book your call.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders and service messages by SMS and email.
- To provide, support and improve our services.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising.
- To send occasional marketing messages, only where you've agreed. Every one includes a way to opt out.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
4. SMS and email messages
By giving us your mobile number in a form or ad, you agree to receive text messages about your enquiry and booking, such as confirmations, reminders and replies. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Standard carrier rates may apply. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing. We follow the Spam Act 2003 (Cth): commercial messages identify us and include an unsubscribe option.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Our CRM, calendar and messaging platform, HighLevel (LeadConnector), which also carries SMS through its telecommunications partners.
- Google Workspace for email and documents.
- Meta Platforms for advertising, lead forms and ad measurement.
- Cloudflare for website hosting and security.
- Professional advisers such as our accountant or lawyer, and government bodies where the law requires it.
6. Overseas disclosure
Several of these providers store or process data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We choose established providers with recognised security practices and take reasonable steps to make sure they handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
7. Cookies and the Meta Pixel
Our website may use cookies and the Meta Pixel to understand which ads bring visitors, to measure enquiries and bookings, and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings. The site still works without them.
8. Security and retention
We protect personal information with reasonable security measures, including access controls and reputable hosted providers. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your audit screenshots at any time.
9. Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@mechaanthropos.com. We'll respond within 30 days. If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first and we'll try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page with its "last updated" date.
